RD&D Programme 2007 presents SKB’s plans for research, development and demonstration during<br/>the period 2008–2013. The plans for the first three-year period are for natural reasons more detailed<br/>than those for the next one.

In the grant contract, DOE requested an<br/>Executive Summary that provides information<br/>in three major areas.

In January 2007, the Department of Energy (DOE) awarded a grant to the Tri City Development Council (TRIDEC) to manage a collaborative effort between the Columbia Basin Consulting Group (CBCG) and a TRIDEC-led consortium team. The purpose of the grant was to evaluate the Hanford Site as a potential location for critical fuels and advanced nuclear reactor facilities to support the Global Nuclear Energy Partnership (GNEP).

The Central Savannah River Area Community Team (The CSRA Team) is pleased to submit this report in<br/>fulfillment of its requirements under DOE Financial Assistance Agreement DE-FG07-07ID14794.

This second version of the Olkiluoto Site Report, produced by the OMTF (Olkiluoto Modelling Task Force), updates the Olkiluoto Site Report 2004 (Posiva 2005) with the data and knowledge obtained up to December 2005.<br/>The main product of the modelling has been to develop a descriptive model of the site (the Site Descriptive Model), i.e. a model describing the geometry, properties of the bedrock and the water and the associated interacting processes and mechanisms.
